Sand mirrors the exact form and dimensions of the door entrance frame, doubling space s well as the act of entrance. The fragile and in its core participatory sand work throws visitors into the delicate question of either entering and surpassing the rectangle or staying at the door frame peeking into the room from outside. Moments of irritation, awkwardness, fragility and questions respect towards space and work need to be endured before a meditative, almost sacred aura reveals itself.
